"I don't believe you." [to hecklers]
As charming and as committed Timothée Chalamet was (it's obvious he did his homework), I found the Bob Dylan in this story quite annoying. The reductive screenplay and straightforward direction didn't help. This film needed more zest, more oomph, and a deeper insight on the persona and mystery that is Bob Dylan. The female characters, Joan, Sylvie, and even Toshi were far more interesting. Monica Barbaro and Elle Fanning ate in their roles.
