  Somewhere in here there’s a good movie, but sadly it fails to scratch something beyond the surface. The film never properly owns its themes and gets pass through the shallowness that permeates it and, at the end, the stylish and atmospheric experience leaves you yearning for something that could have been.

  The Spider-verse team’s ambition is admirable and praiseworthy, every frame of this movie it’s breathless. The outstanding cinematography might be it’s lure, but the stunning animation it’s not the only thing it has to offer, the movie does a remarkable job in every department. It may not be as polished as the first one, but at the end, it’s not presumptuous to say that, not only Miles Morales’s journey remains the best Spider Man adaptation, but it also stands as the best Marvel trilogy to hit theaters.
