  Eh? I'm not sure that I saw the vision here. For a film about kidnapping and murder, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful; the score is soft (and there's no music at all for many scenes) and the use of the "Minnesota nice" stereotype gives the setting a non-threatening and pleasant feel. I admire this creative decision, but it made the film feel a little meandering and slow at points, and I felt that it lacked tension, which, for a crime…
