tracy ate with the line “if everyone in the world married someone of a different race, after one generation there would be no prejudice.” completely out of nowhere too. big fan of how this movie looked, ah to be an angsty teen girl in the 2000s

i see the point but i found this rather distasteful. obviously the film is trying to have a comical, almost extremist representation of nazi germany, however this clearly has not slowed down the development of modern fascism in the United States. This film tries to guilt trip us with a 10 year old in the height of nazi germany not understanding what’s going on when they should have showed the signs that started the phenomenon, maybe then there will be a lesson to take from the film and maybe i’ll feel bad for the protagonist
