The Seed of the Sacred Fig 2024
Ummm. Suspenseful I guess. Didn’t need to be that long and it felt kind of silly at the end. Like what was that all about? What was the end game of Sana? The twist just made me feel that the rest of the movie would be predictable. I just don’t think that this would actually happen. Good drama seems to mirror reality. Which wasn’t the case here.

I will watch this again. What an interesting movie. So well shot. I loved the lack of dialogue. I actually think this movie is testament to story telling w/o dialogue being a sign of good film direction / great acting. Aesthetically pleasing. Thought provoking forsure. The fact that everything happening is alien to her gives the audience such a unique vantage point on the human condition. I really liked this movie. Makes you think. But not too much. It’s just fun.
