Juror #2 2024
Wasn’t really wowed by this to be honest.
Had heard very good things about this and came out the cinema feeling a little disappointed. Having said that, I did think this had great entertainment value and a very fun spin on the classic court room drama however I thought the script fell a bit flat in places and the story didn’t particularly go where I wanted it to go. An absolute masterclass in Film direction from Scorcese, combined with a first class performance from deniro and one of the best scores I’ve heard, pretty incredible film

Her 2013
A clever, interesting and very well executed take on merging sci-fi and romance. Really liked the concept and thought as per usual Joaquin phoenix was brilliant (defo one of my favourite actors). There’s a lot to really like about this film and I think it’s quite an original take on the future of AI and it’s implications.
