As someone who considers 'Paterson' to be a masterpiece and one of the great American films of the 2000s, it pains me to say that 'The Dead Don't Die' is the worst film Jarmusch has ever made. The attempts at meta-humor are so lazy and lame that I can't believe they came from the same mind that gave us 'Broken Flowers' and 'Only Lovers Left Alive.' Murray and Driver look uneasy with the lines that have been written for them, and no one could blame them.
