There is something underneath the surface of this movie where it had the potential to be exciting and an all timer.
The music was quite hypnotic (whenever it came on) and my favorite part of the movie. Ayo as a doe eyed “Final” girl is fun and I loved how she’s clearly the only “normal” one in this movie. More Ayo everywhere pls. John Malkovich will never disappoint.
However, almost every other character that goes to the compound is just, bam, fodder for fodder’s sake. I feel like almost every movement and action is predictable even when you aren’t looking for it.
