Barbie 2023
it delivered what it was selling. line with the mothers at the end hit… that was so real. felt a bit obvious (mainly the part abt patriarchy being bad), but it makes sense that some simplification was necessary. it tackled identity issues really well and the set/costume design was flawless. wish it ended after the ruth handler scene, but the last scene was still funny. if there was more time in the movie gloria def would’ve left the husband for barbie.
