  Somehow reminiscent of a certain kind of grotesque Paul Verhoeven (God bless him)/Philip Dick-styled 80s Sci-Fi - Total Recall, Starship Troopers - and totally driven by the super fun performance by the great R. Pattinson, this is a smart, engaging and wonderfully entertaining piece of satire with more than a few darkly humorous laughs here and there. Probably Bong has made similar stuff before but I don't care as this was able to keep me interested with a fresh editing…

  Toy Story 1995

  I had no clue Joss Whedon worked on the screenplay! Amazing from start to finish, a tremendously smart take on a somehow old trope, fueled by great themes and important meanings conveyed in the smoothest way. Woody and Buzz both work perfectly and feel complex and multi-layered for being the main characters of a quite short animated film such as this. So fucking fun even 30 years later, probably the best kids movie of the 90s?

  Technical side: I don't think I've seen something like this done in Italy before, and I can feel the tremendous effort put in some of the scene so kudos to the bravery and dedication.
  Story: it feels mostly dumb and, worse than all, useless. Everything inside here (when it makes sense) has been told better before. Freaks Out doesn't really add anything to any of the themes it tries to tackle and the screenplay is definitely not helping at all with all its flaws and cringeworthy bits.
  Actors: I guess they did a nice job with what they had. Well done!
