  a suffocatingly immersive experience, constantly bathing us in seemingly endless digital waves that challenge our perceptions of mind and body, deconstructing the sense of self and what it means to "exist"

  the passion that went into this really comes through, and will remain with me for a while

  as we grow up, we get so caught up in our responsibilities that it ends up consuming us. we no longer have time for idle wonder, imagination or anything of the like. yet, in letting go of our childhood, we discard a significant portion of our very being. by regaining that missing piece, we're reminded of the genesis of who we are, how we've become the people we are today, and it just feels much more fulfilling and complete that way. this movie was a wonderful reminder of that fact.

  there was setup for a potentially fantastic take on a well-worn rom-com formula, unfortunately laid to waste by discarding that plot thread entirely to instead embark on a nonsensical home alone-esque journey with comedy that fails to make up for what was lost
