Right off the bat this movie made me want to go for a snack both the food and the girlfriend type. Did I understand the underlying message and meaning of this film? No, but no one tells you that The Platform is the ultimate guide on fasting and dieting. I would recommend you watch this movie before going to a nutritionist for some bullshit meal plan that will leave you with an empty stomach and over with your divorce faster than you lose your first pound.

Rowan Atkinson is a beast acting as Mr. Bean in this movie. He made me go through a roller coaster of emotions during this film. Mr. Bean is a widely relatable character as he says so much about ourselves without even saying a word. This movie is a one of a kind masterpiece. Forrest Gump literally went “balls out” on life but couldn’t live up to the promise of a good ending. Bloke ended up with Jenny the hag and a bastard kid thinking that it was his because the manipulative snake named him the same as the bozo. I did enjoy watching Forrest run through life and make some wholesome friendships along the way, this character is a true example of resilience and…

    Footloose

    ★★★

I thought this was supposed to be an action movie given by the movie title. I expected a marital arts movie about ninjas who could not control their urge for combat and engaged on public fights using their superb acrobatic and kicking techniques. Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan were definitely out of the picture for this film. Instead the directors decided to cast Kevin Bacon (a questionable pick with questionable gender orientation) and Chris Penn (a grocery store cowboy) to perform un-remarking dance moves on what could’ve been one of the best mortal combat titles of all time. Footloose does not come as advertised.
