an intoxicating tragedy, seeping with cathartic irony that soothes the delivery of the dark themes. redemption, purgatory, love. intertwining through moments of heartfelt monologues and witty one liners. this film is sure to induce introspection amongst even the least astute viewer.
intoxicating as it may be for some, including myself thematically, this film underperforms in moments of delivery where it feels a little brash. ralph fiennes delivery was fucking fantastic though, i fucking hated harry.
