Quite a loss this film does not highlight the beauty of Pahang and its people. That's the first thing I hope for in this movie. I have to praise Syamsul Yusof's attempt. But the Islamization of a historical character continues to throw away our special Malay culture and it is very disappointing.

I have to say KL is never overrated. It is always filled with mystery and stories that just wait to be unfold. So to see this part through Abang Adi I'm actually impressed. I've always love the hening of a movie and this beautifully captured it. You just cannot not cry. It makes me want to watch more from Wu. The burung burung flying freely and then ayam curiously stalking behind the cage. When the monologue comes during the jail scene. I never find clichés that isn't true. It was raw and real for me.
