    Cozy comfort Christmas movie. What stood out the most is how it’s filmed with shots and framing exactly taken like a movie from the 1970s.

    70% of the dishes they cook up are food I would avoid on an average day, but god they film it so beautifully it actually makes your mouth water. I hate the sight and touch of raw meat, but they make art out of it. 

    It’s like a documentary of fine cuisine in the 1800s, served with the side of a quiet storyline.

    Hero is your typical Kollywood -PSA- commercial movie that oversimplifies and probably exaggerates the topics it touches on. Its 'superhero' aspect is pretty laughable too (as expected). But regardless of all that, this movie hits home.

    Yet not up to par with the standards of those movies. But still it was enjoyable enough to keep us on our toes with suspense.

    (Ok I just found out that the director of this movie is the same person who directed Papanasam... and wow from that view this movie is actually quite underwhelming)
