Avengers Endgame for boomers
Also this was an interesting movie and quite a good biopic covering a man who didn’t want to be understood. At the end of the day he was many things and nothing at all, a complete unknown to both himself and the audience.
It isn’t perfect but it might be!! Extra stars for the soundtrack featuring Olivia Dean. And for making me and my girlfriend hold back tears in the cinema on Valentines Day.
This was a great watch, I really liked the ending and how it didn’t follow the usual dramatic structure of a movie. Gives you a feeling that the fight for indigenous rights is a lifelong battle that continues to this day!
I also think the movie does a great job of conveying the complex emotions of shame and generational trauma that many Sami people carry.
