  Feels even more oppressive on rewatch than the last time. Guy is one of the all-time villains for me. Also, Rosemary's costumes are impeccable. Farrow does a fabulous job showing Rosemary trying to maintain a tenuous grip on the little power she has. Love it.

  Wants to be a Serious Movie but let's face it, pretty shlocky. Some good set pieces, but Peck's character is so dismissive of his wife throughout almost the entire runtime. I think the film loses a lot by focusing so much on the mystery of Damien's provenance, particularly in the second half.
