Repeat after me:
Trump has already watered down the Dodd-Frank legislation once and will probably try to a second time.
See you at the premiere of the sequel. 🥳

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Definitely loses steam once it loses its most compelling characters. Kubrick takes his tracking shots from Paths of Glory and ups them to give a war movie with battle scenes that feel incredibly modern with vibes of The Hurt Locker, Dunkirk, 1917, Band of Brothers and Saving Pvt Ryan.
I typically love Kubrick, but I don’t think this is his best work.
Honestly, with the mention about the mass shooters, I was surprised Kubrick didn’t tie everything into a bow…
For as much as I started to dislike Steven Moffat towards the end, I think he had a much better understanding of how Dr Who needs to compete in the Golden Age of TV.
Fine episode, Mel was a win, but the shoehorning of her was ridiculous. Feels like the toymaker deserves more.
There are now 2 David tennants randomly floating around this show. If in 10 years time they announce (again) that RTD is returning to the show as showrunner, you can bet your life there will be a third David Tennant 🙄
Where is the anniversary?
It was interesting to watch a Bond film with a more discerning eye.
What I liked:
This is easily the first modern Bond movie.
The cold opening is one of the best ever. The bungee jump and gunfight are classic.
The casting of Dame Judi Dench is inspired and creates one of the best dynamics of the modern movies.
The Natalya plot line is actually not bad, and deserved more focus.
What I didn’t like:
I understand the whole collapse…
