Boring drudgery with serious undertones of “sexy” domestic violence. Typical “learn to love” story. Beautiful scenery but that’s about it…

Great film. Could have been a bit more inventive with the way it ended, but alas. 

Terrible audio though. The majority of the film is whispered and they chose not to turn down the soundtrack whilst they spoke. Had to use subtitles.

Also ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ was a bit of an odd choice for a final track.

Visually quite a pleasing film, but other than that it had that stench of nothingness about it. 

Some interesting themes that could have been explored further, especially sexual violence (in a subtle way).

Nice cameo from Willem Dafoe and a band of Transylvanian travellers, though.

Didn’t quite do it for me. 3/5, just.
