  Has all the hallmarks of an independent film: “raw” depictions of coming of age and poverty shot mostly handheld with the loosest of plots that eventually includes a surrealistic element. Still really managed to make me feel things which is all you can really ask for of a film.

  It feels kind like a tarintino movie made by people who think the point and shoot digital trend is cool. Really good directing matched with bizarre acting and script. Stylistically it felt like such a 2000s movie except for being obviously pre-9/11.
