  enjoyable partly because it was interesting to see how it differs to dune part 1&2. maybe ill read the book to get all three tellings

  very bizarre film
  Stewarts Shakespearian background serves him very well in this. cinema giant William Shatner blows it out the park with many rousing scenes that peel back the curtain on James Tiberius Kirk.
  halfway through the film gets very weird and boring but then the enterprise crashes into a planet and wipes out several ecosystems with breathtaking effects
