The first 30 minutes is a whirlwind of violence, crosscutting between different scenes of James Fox attacking people for not being in line with the fuckin' business. Cool shots, cool colours, fast af editing. Things come to a standstill for a while as the film introduces Jagger, a cultural opposite of Fox's protagonist. The pacing slows, the film almost feels normal, then the merge happens.

My life is a bit like this film lol.
Nightmarish throughout, grainy as shit, a protagonist that struggles to say a single sentence. It was an agonizing experience watching this and I wanted to rip my face off (smile)! I caught myself either slack-jawed or covering my face with my hands throughout. Last third was genuinely horrifying. I feel like screaming.
