The sheep choose to bring back their overlord and go back to eternal servitude for no reason (other than sustaining the status quo I guess) instead of running the farm themselves (they are clearly shown to be able to use public transport and kidnap a man, you can’t tell me they can’t sustain themselves).
It is unclear why the sheep may need their master’s protection other than the bizarrely violent and completely imaginary character of the animal…

The earnest Boston guy is giving strong Hugh Skinner in Fleabag vibes. Also, yet another shockingly pre-9/11 film. However, no homo- or transphobia unless I missed something.
Style (AI-generated Balenciaga advert) over substance (all main characters in an Arab-coded story being white, the only fat character being evil and played by an actor in a fat suit, gratuitous violence and misogyny, dated and overused tropes, outrageously long running time for a film that is 50% plot and 50% people just staring back and forth at each other).
This film has it all:
• Long shots of the backs of people's heads.
• Long shots of unedited footage of a different film.
• Not normalised audio that requires you to constantly adjust the volume.
• Faux-profound dialogue that could be genuine or comedic.
• Ending that is bizarre but not interesting enough to save the film from being boring.
