  Parasite is possibly one of my favourite foreign films out there. It was very well directed, paced and edited which I thought was the biggest selling point of this film. The set and production design in which I feel this film heavily relies upon should not be understated as well.   I went to the cinemas not expecting much from Little Women and boy was I wrong. I enjoyed this film so much more than Greta Gerwig's previous film, Lady Bird, which I personally thought was excellent but slightly overhyped. This film features the same actress, Saoirse Ronan, who I thought was just Oscar-worthy marvelous.   1917 was simply outstanding. For what it lacked on character development, it made up on a technical level; one of the best I've seen. Sam Mendes and Roger Deakins were truly at the top of their game with some of the best, groundbreaking cinematography work out there. The illusion of being a one-shot film left the characters so vulnerable throughout the movie, leaving you uneased at the edge of your seat not knowing what danger's around the corner. Best film of the 2019 season in my eyes. Would recommend watching this on the big screens for a truly immersive experience.
