The Boys from Brazil 1978
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Strange film about cloning hitler 94 times. Ignoring the ethical and moral minefields this raises, it seems surprising to me that a film with such a bizarre and insane concept can be made in such a dry and dull way. It's filmmaking style feels like its from the 50s or early 60s, but in such a bad way, as if the filmmakers were ignorant of any advancement in the craft. Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier are the only reason you'd want to watch this film. Devoid of atmospheare, logic, tension or intrigue (predictable twist), how can you make a film so wrong with such insane ingredients?

How the West Was Won 1962
The ultra-wide cinerama 3 camera process is weird to admire on a 4:3 20inch monitor.

Poor Things 2023
I am really enjoying reading the ½ or 1 star reviews for this film from angry, annoyed or offended cinemagoers. They are well within their right to feel such a way at a film like this, it's what Lanthimos has always done, and I will always love the way he does it.
