Silver Linings Playbook 2012
ok i know this has very mixed reviews but i really enjoyed watching this. i thought it was funny and engaging and i loved the dynamic of pat and his parents. there was definitely parts that fell flat, i think the pace of the movie on a general note was odd but again a fun watch. one thing i really liked was their dance, it really silly the way it switched from like a waltz to this very unorthodox dance but it was very them and the dance was personal and reflective of them, their realtionship, and their experiences with their mental health.

great feel good movie, the main 2 bachelors are well written with good dynamics and the plot is driven by one by one encountering experiences that lead to their respective character growths. it's definitely a little cringe and silly at times, but a fun movie overall, i do wish they gave the same depth to the female characters, laila was PEAK manic pixie dream girl, very flat character just written for arjun's character arch
