  Shaolin monks purport to practice a form of Zen Buddhism in which they can be deeply engaged in strenuous martial arts, yet the mind remains completely still. They speak of being immersed in a continuous flow of energy while remaining totally empty of thought.  

  Watching Madame Web on a long-haul flight from Heathrow to LAX is the closest I’ve come to experiencing this form of zen.
