"You were -- are -- a great mum. Maybe I took my eye off the ball a bit."
Thought the first and second episodes were really hard to get into and connect to the characters due to the one take format not giving characters enough room to grow and root into the audience. The third was a complete gem. And the fourth shows the reach of pain's hand after hate cut its wound.
Messaging more important than anything else though.…

“Do you ever think about anything except yourself?”
Had incredibly high hopes for this, but it didn’t hit the soul like I’d imagined. Very Tarkovsky-like in its pacing, but lacked that ‘dream-like’ feel that is integral to Tarkovsky’s work.
The circular, looping audio throughout literally the entire movie has its heart in the right place, but ended up removing my anticipation.
I can totally imagine myself rewatching this in a couple of years and loving it.
