Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father 2008
Touching and unique in its style.
It is a film full of emotions; from joy to anger, from pain to hope. It is impossible not to be moved by the genuine expressions of all those involved in this documentary.
The vast footage the director has of his friend and his family adds so much value to the viewer. In addition, he is able to convey a sincere passion for cinema and for the moments that are truly worthwhile in this life.
It is a beautiful letter that I highly recommend.

This is an extremely funny movie that brilliantly captures the snobbish American culture of the 00's. It's funny and extremely ridiculous, which were my favorite aspects of the movie.

The Whale 2022
I would never watch this movie again in my lifetime.
I went in to see it not knowing that it was directed and co-written by Aronofsky (with whom I have a love/hate relationship for his work). I'm glad it was that way because I would have gone in with even more predisposition. I mean, just knowing that it was about a terribly morbidly obese man is enough to know that you'll see a deeply tragic story.
