'Power over spice is power over all'
Unlike the part 1 which opens with the line 'Dreams are messages from the deep', There is a certain difference with how these both films start. Part 1 deals with the contemplative aspect about dreams and world-building. However this part rather sets the tone for power struggle, grasping control and the war over the most critical natural resource 'Spice'. Both these lines describe Paul Atreides journey in the film, like it is some sort of foreshadowing device. What comes after it is an absolute masterpiece of a film by Denis Villeneuve.
