  Great concept, great story, but I don't think you should have to watch ten video essays to understand what happened in the movie. This is not a complexity problem; the movie is intentionally labyrinthine, to its own detriment. You just appreciate it a lot more if you actually understand what happened.

  Beautifully rendered (wouldn't say beautifully animated) but ultimately with very little to say.

  “American Graffiti” is quite possibly the best teen film of all time and easily George Lucas' finest work. The way it so wonderfully captures the highs and lows of adolescence in such a grounded and earnest way is nothing short of amazing.
