  First, lets get out of the way what was good:
  1. really creative camera work. big fan.
  2. great incorporation of side characters so that it felt like a real world with real people living real, important lives
  3. GREAT subversion of expectations! They showed us the end at the beginning, adn it had a totally diff meaning than we thought.

  Ahhh I was so excited for this movie.
  1. the motif of the track team was SO FUNNY. got me every time.
  2. I mean I don't buy hte whole "i've been in love with you this whole time" dynamic, but the simplicity of their relationship is just so wonderful. Ack––the muddy track cleats in the hospital bed! And when he wins the meet and she's just like "it's ok, he figured it out."
  3. Wow. Um, they went there.…
