i wasn’t expecting to (i usually dislike musicals) but i LOVED this movie. i think it’s the story for me (ik it’s an adaptation). i found elphaba and glynda’s dynamic super interesting and original, like it wasn’t just popular mean girl vs nice bullied girl, and what it “was” instead can’t really be put in a box, you just keep trying to understand it. i think the movie also touched on some original themes about minorities, especially how it covered…
