This was really disappointing because I love Ghibli and Fantasy but man this wasn’t it.
This is so boring and long I just couldn’t care for anything by the end. It feels so generic nothing special about it just feels like I’ve seen this 1000 times. Mast Ghibli movies throw you into a story and that works because it engrosses you in the world and this one it doesn’t feel distinct enough to try at all. I really wanted to like this but really bad but it just doesn’t work.
I think this movie is just pretentious enough to make this a great movie is it prefect hell no but it had one of the best scores and cinematography I have ever seen and it knows how to control tension, but like I could follow the plot then it just got a bit to abstract at the end but I like it
