Parker Posey, Lisa Kudrow, and Edie Falco get to be unhinged and camp and Brandon Flynn gets to be gay and handsome. Fun and breezy, calling back to B-movies of the 80s and 90s I remember from slumber parties growing up, but having an interracial gay couple at at middle and a great cast makes it feel fresh enough.

A suspenseful, tight hours and a half. Despite knowing the outcome, it was still an engrossing watch. The film does a cool job of explaining or showing how far technology has come (wild to see them developing film for the news), without feeling like it was jarring it pushed in our face like sloppier period pieces. A few moments of sexism are similarly handled well by showcasing them without beating the audience over the head.
