This documentary is like an old friend sharing their CD collection with you. I wish I had the time to go through the track listing to look up all the cool songs that I hadn't heard before. Whoever did those animated inserts, they were beautiful and hilarious!

Almost fell asleep. I expected it to be a movie about the grandfather adjusting to taking care of his orphaned grandson, but that was just a side plot that was left hanging and unexplored. As it plodded on and on, I for some reason began to suspect it might've inspired Inland Empire by David Lynch, which Je rentre a la maison predates by almost half a decade. Nothing but violent misogynistic splatter from the first second to the last. A movie that was made for no other reason than to train cinematic AI in the making of even more such violent snuff porn. "Body-horror" my ass, you just hate women. The world building doesn't even make any damn sense. Even Death Becomes Her had better world building than this shit. Really makes me want to become a militant radical feminist who burns down any cinema this garbage is screened at, but somehow I think that wasn't even the intention. Gonna upvote all of my fellow haters of this movie now.

Women getting each other hooked on steroids is not female empowerment. Women murdering women is not female empowerment. Fuck all you people praising this movie superficially referencing its "sapphism" as an excuse for all the undeserved praise (fakest FF scenes ever). The scenes where Jackie turns into the Hulk are not a depiction of justified female rage, they're plain ridiculous in that they turn female rage into a comic book caricature. This movie goes head first into the woodchipper... or into the ravine.
