Truly.... why? I did not believe that this movie would be as bad as people were saying it was. Well, I was wrong.
Beyond any other considerations, this movie is just objectively not good - poor acting, bad singing (in a MUSICAL), very superficial plot and characterization. How this got such major awards recognition just goes to prove how subjective art is (and makes one reflect further on how relevant the role of film awards should be in our evaluation of cinema, in case it was necessary for it to come to this).
