A stacked cast, the Russo brothers, and $320M what could go wrong?
Just about everything.
I will say, the vfx/cgi looked cool, but is this really what a $320M movie is today? And straight to streaming? Genuinely concerned with the state of new movie releases. Maybe the live action Snow White will be better lol
This movie supposedly took $10M and 33 days to shoot (incredible) but the cigarette budget alone must have been $1M.
Lots to unpack on my first watch. The one thing I will confidently say is that this movie is visually stunning. I could hang almost any shot on my wall. I loved the VistaVision format and am amazed at what was filmed on such a tight budget and time frame.
I will need to rewatch this in the future but…

Absolutely blown away (lol) by this one! Nolan is one of the greatest to ever do it and this might be my new favorite from him. There’s so much detail and story packed into these three hours and I want more!
Best picture, screenplay, sound, actor, supporting actor, and supporting actress. I want them all! Absolutely phenomenal!
Can’t wait to watch it again.
