Zero Day 2025
The thing is, the GWOT was terrible but had good movies. This era — what do we call it, the tech oligarchy era? — only has bad movies. They want you to feel bad that people are mean online, but ignore if you’re mad about things like the economy. Pretty incredible to see the main character completely fine with torture and never answer for it, but mad that people wanted to do a cyber attack on America. Deeply forgettable, feels like an NBC exec’s view on America.

Divorced guy goes to Europe to find himself. This movie has so much potential and incredible camerawork, but the plot tries so hard to give you unnecessary twists that you understand why they keep bringing up Houdini.
