  not only is the fetishisation of childhood aesthetics the literal basis of this album/film, but it's just straight up bad. the acting and dialogue is cringe as fuck, the fake woke politics seem desperate to make everyone forget about the accusations made against melanie because how could they be true if she says trump man bad!! and the plot is awkwardly crafted to fit around the album tracks. also i haven't listened to it since the accusations, but crybaby slapped harder than this.
