wth happened to the bird, did the bird get eaten by the sun? ascend to godhood? figuratively but literally abandon the family? why couldn't the bird reunite with them too
but overall, what's not to like

I mean I was entertained, mostly in the first half, the phone mechanic was fun. But just one of those somewhat gimmicky things that requires an excess of suspension of disbelief and thus probably was more natural in the webcomic form.
