Similar plot to Moon (2009), but a much worse execution of the plot.
Slow to start and slower to finish.
Some really interesting ideas, but not at all explored in any depth. It felt like a spider diagram of what could be put in a sci-fi film, but with limited articulation and exploration of these ideas.
Minor roles from the women - heroic men saving the day.
The best scene was right at the end, after 1h40 of shoddy sci-fi conventions.
Lots of things left unexplained, such as the creation of Jack in the first place, and how they got new clothes at the end...Translated from by -
Strange Way of Life 2023
Nice western setting; lovely palomino horse.
Bit of a strange story (hence the title), which didn't fully develop some of the themes teased at during it's short running (30 minutes).
