Don't Look Up 2021
Perhaps the best example of the decade (so far) of throwing money at a project to ensure viewership. Attach big names to a vague premise and disappoint enough people that a fraction of folks will actually pretend to like this film. There was some funny moments here-- I'll admit that-- but this was one of the laziest commentaries on what could otherwise be a lower cost documentary on the reality of apathy, and anti-intellectualism in the western world.
