  love this so much, incredible film. love the balance between deeply unserious and horribly dystopian.

  great performances from Robert Pattinson, love the slightly strange voice he does. also i really appreciate Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette as the trump-likes. they do so well at playing those hollow and off-putting conservative types. all they want to do is kill everything that doesn't look right and make sauces out of them it's so absurd but so honest. love the commentary regarding that and how all life is regarded as expendable under capitalism.

  and i love the creepers such good creature designs. little freaky guys

  incredible movie, a perfect picture of relentless perfectionism and the psychosis it causes. this film is so good at building the anxiety that comes with that it's so tense the whole way through.

  [4th time watching]

  watched in preparation for the sequel coming in less than 10 days (!!!!!). it's still such a perfect film, a perfect love letter to Spider-Man, a perfect portrayal of what Spider-Man represents. so much love was poured into this film and i absolutely love it.
