  The way this nexplanon commercial didn't need to be almost two hours long!!!

  The unnecessary CGI, unrelentingly bad dialogue from everyone other than Hugh Grant, unraveling toward the end, etc. really ruined it for me.

  Some things that bugged me: 

  - Chloe East (who was great despite the lines she was given) causally dropping a "taking it from behind" but then referring to sex as "sexing" and  "having intercourse--sexual intercourse" like 20 seconds later. 

  - Sophie Thatcher's Holocaust line.

  Sisters with Transistors 2020

  This was really cool but girlbossed a little too close to the sun for me. The Wendy Carlos erasure was so bizarre (she won THREE Grammys and gave us the moog but only appeared in one clip) and I feel like there was a real missed opportunity to talk about the Godmother of House Music and other Black female pioneers in electronic music. Points for an overstimulated Thurston Moore and introducing me to Pauline Oliveros.
