The Celebration 1998
Mum had changed the Mubi password without telling me, but I knew that, as soon as I laid my hands on that password, I’d watch Festen. And girl, it did not disappoint. The film’s unfiltered, raw approach is unsettling - ngl it gave me the creeps at times, but it was a cinematic experience unlike anything else I’ve watched before. Absolutely loved it
