The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
The story was the best part along with the backdrops and settings the characters were in, but the characters themselves lacked depth, which really took away from a lot of the major moments in the film. Pacing and tone felt super similar to the original trilogy, (which I assume can be credited to Peter Jackson's involvement,) but because of the flat character animation style, it really lacked the visual emotional nuance needed for a lot of the dialogue and dramatic scenes to be delivered and received in the same way that the slower, more serious pace worked for the live actors in the films.
