  Couldn't hold my attention for more than 28 minutes. Which is pretty fucking short.

  I just can't get past the terrible way Carax tried to make a musical film. The songs are So. Fucking. Annoying.

  Was talking about hats and which ones would fit me and my fellow viewers' heads at some point. 'Nuff said

  Tries to be philosophic, turns out to be more pretentious than that kierkegaard-referencing acquaintance which you try to avoid with a pee-break.

  Badly written, me and two other friends were so bored out of our minds that we kept it on as background noise.

  Very strange but interesting and beautiful use of camera, the focus seems to be more on objects or bodies instead of faces. Gives the film a certain vibe I cant really place, but is very refreshing like a cucumber tonic maybe gin drink.

  Looks situated long ago, but isn't. Why black and white? Why so many shots of little girls legs/feet? Does the director have a foot fetish?

  Didn't blow me away but hey!
