Being shown in an old theatre cinema as part of Strasbourg's Valentine's programming. My only film of Feb (busy).
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing this on the big screen as I didn't manage to watch it at Christmas time (some would argue, the appropriate time).

This was interesting. I liked the New York of it all, the houses and streets, the costume.
Score/soundscape could have been better. Decent main performances but some weird exchanges - it is all very dream like so this works ok.
Loved what felt like an Alan Cumming cameo. Scene stealer! Especially up against the scientologist... (even though he was decent).
Interesting context within Kubrick's career but nothing crazy. Would be open to rewatch and try and get more from it.Translated from by
