I knew jackshit about bob. This film really assumes you know a lot about him abd his songs. The first hour took some adjustment and then it all fell into place and I enjoyed my time. Barely a plot in it but that ain't the point. His life and his songs were enough

Weirdest love triangle ever. Great acting, sound, visuals but somewhat lacking in a compelling plot. (After further reflection for a few days, there really isn't much substance behind this story unfortunately so I will bring review down from a 4 to a 3 5). Everything else makes up for it.

Such an immensely interesting film. It is mentioned in the film that a tennis match is relationship, and that sums this movie perfectly. Such an interesting investigation of the dynamic between three people. From the music, the way it is shot, the match, the three-way relationship. There is a lot to be said. A lot of interesting cues on the inner thoughts, motives, and power dynamics of the three. Absolutely loved it.

Civil War 2024
Vapid vignette of random events occuring and bumbling fake journos doing very non journo things. Quite frankly a dumb and even offensive film on the realities of conflict, and this depiction of journalism has little nuance. Just stupid. If the point was to show journalism is stupid, then it failed because these people are NOT journalists. If it was a depiction of conflict on a personal level, it failed to impact. If it was a plot film... where was the story? And god the music. Just an intentionally jarring piece of work with no actual meaning. Bleh. At least it looked nice.
